Instrument & Control Engineer
(GS E&C Seoul office)

Responsibilities:

• Instrument & Control Engineer in the EPC industry supporting oil, gas and petrochemical processing facilities.
• Responsible for preparing specifications, data sheets, RFQs, technical bid summaries, purchase orders. Responsible for reviewing construction drawings such as location drawing, wiring layouts, hook-up, connection, typical installation details, loop diagram, logic diagram, etc.
• Responsible for the review of vendor drawings and data. Must be able to communicate detailed design issues effectively with suppliers, clients, and other engineering disciplines.
• May also participate in the development of P&ID's, equipment specifications, process logic diagrams and shutdown keys.

Requirements:

• B.S. in Chemical, Inst & Control, or Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience.
• Demonstrated performance as Job Engineer for small to medium sized EPC projects is required.
• Read, write and speak English
• Experience in Overseas Project is preferred.
• Knowledge of applicable design standards covering Instrument & Control Design/Engineering and applicable accessories such as API, FCI, IEC, IEEE, ISA, ISO, NACE, NFPA, Etc.
• Knowledge of automation and control systems (DCS, PLC, ESD..) is preperrable
• Fluent operation of INtools software for instrument calculation, Instrument index, data sheet generation.
• Fluent operation of Microsoft Office software, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.
